The morning after the day before for our Data Day Live panel as they look back over a momentous day at the 2022 World Cup before gearing up for Germany’s World Cup challenge getting underway.
Thankfully our panel they were joined by special guests Linus Braun from OptaFranz for a deeper look at Germany’s World Cup hopes, as well as Damien Shernetsky from OptaJean, who’s no doubt slightly relieved that the seemingly constant bad news which has surrounded the France team heading into the tournament has been put to the back of their minds for now. And of course, we couldn’t leave today’s episode without reflecting on Saudi Arabia’s stunning victory over Argentina and what it might mean for the rest of the World Cup.
