Imagine turning up late for a game and having your mates around you go ‘you just missed one of the fastest Premier League goals!’ You’d be crestfallen, right?

Well thankfully for you, here at the Analyst, we are going to take a look back at the top ten fastest Premier League goals of all-time. The previous record had stood for 19 years until Shane Long (spoiler alert!) snatched the record for Southampton against Watford in 2019, but there’s plenty of other quick hits to enjoy as we take a look back over the history of the quickest of events.
