Harvard’s Charles DePrima, UAlbany’s Dylan Kelly, Fordham’s Brandon Peskin and Richmond’s Camden Coleman were selected Monday as the FedEx Ground FCS National Players of the Week for Week 6 college football games ending this past Saturday.

In addition, North Carolina Central was named the FCS National Team of the Week.

The five honorees plus honorable mention selections:

FedEx Ground FCS National Offensive Player of the Week

Charles DePrima, Harvard, QB, Jr., 6-2, 185, Oakland, New Jersey

DePrima accounted for 361 yards of total offense and six touchdowns as the Crimson beat Cornell 41-23 in the Ivy League and improved to 4-0. He had career highs in passing yards (209) and rushing yards (152), connecting for three TD passes and adding three more scores on the ground. He averaged 17.4 yards on 12 completions while posting a 207.7 pass efficiency rating and 16.9 yards on nine carries.

FedEx Ground FCS National Defensive Player of the Week

Dylan Kelly, UAlbany, LB, Sr., 6-2, 224, Amhurst, New York

Kelly racked up an FCS season-high 23 tackles, including nine solos, as UAlbany posted a 24-17 victory at Towson in CAA Football. His final tackle helped drop a rusher for a two-yard loss on fourth-and-goal from the UA 1 with 55 seconds left. Also in the Great Danes’ third straight win, Kelly forced a fumble and recovered it, and had a pass breakup and a quarterback hurry.

FedEx Ground FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week

Brandon Peskin, Fordham, PK, Sr., 6-2, 197, Melville, New York

Peskin kicked a game-tying, 42-yard field goal just inside the two-minute mark, then a career-long 45-yarder as time expired to lift Fordham past Lehigh 38-35 in the Patriot League. He finished both 3-for-3 on field-goal and extra-point attempts to record a career-best 12 points, and handled kickoffs for the Rams.

FedEx Ground FCS National Freshman Player of the Week

Camden Coleman, Richmond, QB, Fr., 6-3, 220, Clemmens, North Carolina

Playing in his second game and making his first start, the true freshman tied the Spiders’ single-game record with six touchdown passes to fuel a 42-31 CAA win over Maine. Coleman completed 25 of 36 passes (69.4 percent) for 365 yards with two interceptions and a 198.5 pass efficiency rating. Two of his TD passes went for over 50 yards, and he also had a 26-yard reception and 10 rushing yards.

FedEx Ground FCS National Team of the Week

North Carolina Central (34-23 win at then-No. 25 Elon)

The Eagles posted their 500th all-time victory behind eight sacks and another big performance by quarterback Davius Richard (285 yards of total offense, four total touchdowns). Down 10-0 after the first quarter, they scored 28 unanswered points over the second and third quarters, with Latrell Collier’s 63-yard touchdown run putting them ahead for good.
