The first round of the FCS playoffs was full of record-setting performances.

Not just school and conference records, but Division I subdivision marks were at the forefront.

  • In his final game, Fordham quarterback Tim DeMorat matched FCS season records for 300-yard passing games (11) and touchdowns responsible for (61, via pass and run).
  • Montana’s Malik Flowers matched the FCS career record with his seventh kickoff return for a touchdown.
  • Richmond’s Reece Udinski set the FCS single-game playoff record for completion percentage with at least 15 attempts (90.3, 28 of 31).
  • New Hampshire’s Dylan Laube set the FCS single-game playoff record with 424 all-purpose yards.
