OPTA MILLION CONTEST
OFFICIAL GAME OF SKILL RULES
“Opta Million” Promotion (the “Contest”) is owned and operated by Perform Content Limited, company number 11562035 with a registered address of The Point, 37 North Wharf Road, Paddington, W2 1AF, England (the “Opta Analyst”).
For the purposes of the Contest and these Official Rules, “Opta Analyst” shall include Opta Analyst’s affiliates, members of its group and any related companies.
The Contest is free of charge to enter and no purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter, win or claim a prize. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning. Your participation in the Contest constitutes your full and unconditional agreement of these official rules and your agreement to be bound by them. It is a game of skill.
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with any third party, including but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
THE CONTEST
During the Contest Period, you will be required to complete a full World Cup selection, found at theanalyst.com/optamillion, selecting the finishing positions of each of the four (4) teams in each of the eight (8) groups, during the group stage and selecting the winners for each elimination round game, through the end of the World Cup, including the contest for third place and the eventual winner of the tournament (a total of 48 selections). Any Entrant that completes a perfect World Cup selection, correctly selecting the finishing positions for each group and the winners for each elimination round game, including the contest for third place and the eventual winner of the tournament, shall be deemed a “Potential Winner”, subject to eligibility confirmation and compliance with these Contest rules.
THE PRIZE
The prize for correctly completing a perfect World Cup selection is $1,000,000 USD. If there are multiple winners of the Contest, the prize will be split evenly between all winners. If there are no winners for the Contest, then no prize will be awarded.
HOW TO ENTER
You can enter the Contest by going to theanalyst.com/optamillion, following the instructions, and submitting your full World Cup selection for the Contest. You are limited to one entry for the Contest and any subsequent entries shall be deemed void. You are not required to make any purchase or payment of any kind in order to enter or win the Contest.
If you meet the Eligibility Criteria you may enter the Contest during the Contest Period prior to the Entry Deadline by completing and submitting the information requested at theanalyst.com/optamillion and by following the on-screen instructions.
By submitting an entry, you confirm that you have read, understand and agree to abide by these Official Rules.
Each entry must adhere to the Eligibility Criteria listed herein or such entry will be void and ineligible for entry into the Contest.
All entries must be received by the Entry Deadline.
Entries must be made using only an e-mail address subscribed to, and registered in, your name. Entries must be submitted by you and not any third party.
In the event of a dispute regarding entries submitted by multiple individuals using the same e-mail account, the only eligible entry will be the entry submitted by the authorized subscriber to the e-mail account used to enter the Contest at the actual time of entry. The authorized e-mail account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
CONTEST PERIOD
The “Contest Period” starts on Tuesday, 1st November at 12:00 AM GMT and ends on Sunday, 20th November at 12:00 AM GMT (the “Entry Deadline”).
ELIGIBILITY
All participants must: (a) be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry; (b) possess a valid form of identification; and (c) be capable of accessing the Internet (each, an “Entrant”).
The following groups are expressly excluded from entering the Contest and any entry from such group will be automatically voided: (a) residents and entrants from Italy or any territory bound by Italian law; (b) Entrants where the Contest is in any way prohibited by any law, regulation or other restriction; and (c) all officers, directors, employees and agents of Opta Analyst, including any members of any immediate families (being parents, siblings, children and spouses, regardless of where they live) or households (whether or not related) of such persons (collectively above, the “Eligibility Criteria”).
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE CLAIM CONDITIONS
(a) All Potential Winners in accordance with Section 6 are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.
(b) Potential Winners will be notified by Opta Analyst via the e-mail address provided by the Potential Winners at time of entry. The return of any prize winner notification as undeliverable, the inability to reach the prize winner or failure of the prize winner to respond to Opta Analyst’s notification in accordance with this paragraph, failure to provide proof of eligibility (if requested), Release documents, Tax Documentation (if required) or other required documentation in a timely manner, or other non-compliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize (at Opta Analyst’s sole discretion).
(c) All Potential Winners must complete and return to Opta Analyst (or its authorized agent), if requested, a written confirmation of their eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, including a copy of his/her current government issued Passport and/or identification card and proof of residence (and for US Entrants only, his/her Social Security Number, if required for tax reporting purposes), and a liability and publicity release (collectively, the “Release”), releasing Opta Analyst from any liability in connection with this Contest, within seven (7) days of receipt of the notification described in subsection (a) above, or the prize may be deemed void (at Opta Analyst’s sole discretion).
(d) All prize winners shall be solely responsible for all taxes related to winning.
If you are based in the US or have any US tax obligations, and have won more than $600 or more worth of prizes from Opta Analyst in a calendar year, you will receive an IRS form 1099 from Opta Analyst after the end of the calendar year in which the prizes were awarded, and a copy of such form will be filed with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), or such other tax form as may be required by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the winner resides. Each prize winner shall complete all tax documentation required by the law of the jurisdiction in which the prize winner resides (“Tax Documentation”).

OWNERSHIP OF COMPETITION ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All Contest entries and any accompanying material submitted to Opta Analyst will become the property of the Opta Analyst on receipt and will not be returned.
By submitting your entry to the Contest and any accompanying material, you agree to: (a) assign to Opta Analyst all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and (b) waive all moral rights, in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
(a) Opta Analyst will not replace any lost or stolen prizes.
(b) Any attempt to exceed the maximum number of entries per person is a violation of these Official Rules and may result in disqualification. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified.
(c) You assume all risk of lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries. Incomplete, corrupted, garbled, misdirected or otherwise illegible entries, or entries without contact information, or do not conform to the requirements of these Official Rules, are void and will not be accepted.
(d) Opta Analyst reserves the right to disqualify fraudulent entries or entries suspected of being fraudulent, as determined by Opta Analyst in its sole discretion. All entries submitted become the sole property of Opta Analyst and will not be acknowledged or returned.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASES
By participating in this contest, you agree that Opta Analyst has no liability whatsoever for, and you shall hold harmless and release Opta Analyst and its group, officers, directors, agents, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest from and against, any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses of any kind (including without limitation direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages) arising from (a) entry or participation in this contest, including access to and use of the contest website; (b) any claims based on personality or privacy rights, defamation or prize delivery; or (c) the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, including but not limited to liability for, damage to property, and damage or loss of any other kind.
In addition to the forgoing and subject to validity under law, you shall hold harmless and release Opta Analyst and its group, officers, directors, agents, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest from and against, any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses of any kind (including without limitation direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages) arising from personal injury, bodily injury and wrongful death.
Opta Analyst is not responsible for any undelivered e-mails, including without limitation, e-mails that are not received because of a potential prize winner’s privacy or spam filter settings which may divert any notification or other e-mail, including any grand prize winner notification e-mail, to a spam or junk folder.
Without limiting the foregoing, Opta Analyst shall not be responsible for: (a) any incomplete or inaccurate information that is caused by your use of Opta Analyst websites, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contests; (b) lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, service provider, on-line systems, telephone networks or telephone lines, or any other connections; (c) the theft, destruction, loss or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (d) any problems with, or malfunctions or failures of, telephone networks or lines, computers or computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, viruses or bugs; (e) garbled transmissions or miscommunications; (f) failure of any e-mail to be received by or from Opta Analyst for any reason, including but not limited to traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof or technical incompatibility; (g) damage to a your computer equipment (software or hardware) occasioned by participation or downloading of materials related to this Contest; (h) printing, distribution, programming or production errors, and any other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise; or (i) technical, pictorial, typographical or editorial errors or omissions contained herein.
GOVERNING LAW/DISPUTES. You expressly consent and agree that:
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Opta Analyst may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Contest.
Opta Analyst reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Contest where it becomes necessary to do so and at its sole discretion.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
PERSONAL INFORMATION, PUBLICITY AND PRIVACY.
Opta Analyst and its authorized agents will collect, use, and disclose the personal information provided by you for the purposes of administering the Contest and prize fulfilment. By accepting the prize described herein, and subject to applicable law, you agree to Opta Analyst’s use of your name, city/state/province of residence, picture, biographical information, statements, voice and likeness in any advertising and publicity Opta Analyst may conduct relating to the Contest in any media or format, whether now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, at any time or times in perpetuity, without further compensation or notice, except where prohibited by law.
RIGHT TO VOID / TERMINATE / SUSPEND / MODIFY
Opta Analyst reserves the right to suspend or modify this Contest, or these Official Rules, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation if, in Opta Analyst’s sole opinion, any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Rules, including but not limited to any interruption, cancellation, or delay in the World Cup competition as a result of pandemic or any other reason.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if the Contest, or any part thereof, is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, programming errors, or technical failures, which, in the sole opinion of Opta Analyst, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contests, Opta Analyst may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect entries and: (a) terminate the Contest, or any portion thereof; (b) modify or suspend the Contest, or any portion thereof, to address the impairment and then resume the Contest, or relevant portion, in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; and/or (c) award the prize from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment in accordance with the winner selection criteria discussed above.

For the purposes of the Contests and these Official Rules, “Opta Analyst” shall include Opta Analyst’s affiliates, members of its group and any related companies.
These Rules serve as a common set of rules for 64 different Challenge Contests, with one Challenge Contest for each match in the 2022 World Cup competition. Each contest is referred to in these rules as “the Contest” or “the Challenge.” Each Contest is free of charge to enter and no purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter, win or claim a prize. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning. Your participation in the Contest constitutes your full and unconditional agreement of these official rules and your agreement to be bound by them.

THE CONTEST

Any Entrant who answers all the questions correctly within the allotted time shall be deemed a “Potential Winner”, subject to eligibility confirmation and compliance with these Contest rules.
THE PRIZE
The prize for each Challenge is $500 USD. If there are multiple winners of any Challenge, all eligible Entrants will be entered into a prize draw and one winner selected. All eligible Entrants will be notified when they are entered into the prize draw. If they do not receive any subsequent correspondence within a week of the initial email, they have unfortunately not been successful. If there are no winners for a particular Challenge, then the $500 USD prize for that Challenge will not be awarded.

For each Quiz, the Entrant who achieves the highest score, by answering all the questions correctly in the fastest time, shall be deemed a “Potential Winner”, subject to eligibility confirmation and compliance with these Contest Official Rules.
THE PRIZE
The prize for achieving the highest score is $1,000 US for each Quiz. If there are multiple winners of any Quiz, the prize money shall be divided equally between the winners, so that if there are 2 winners, each winner will receive $500, and if there are 4 winners, each winner will receive $250. If there are no winners for a particular Quiz, the $1,000 US prize will be carried over to the next Quiz, so that the next Quiz’s prize will be $2,000 US. If there is then no winner in the next Quiz, the $2,000 US will be carried over to the next Quiz, so that Quiz’s prize will be increased to $3,000 US, and so on for each of the remaining Quizzes. For each Quiz, the Entrants with the next highest ten (10) scores shall each be deemed a “Potential Runner Up” and shall be eligible to win an Opta branded mini football (estimated retail price $4.00 US), subject to eligibility confirmation and compliance with these Contest Official Rules.
HOW TO ENTER
You may enter each of the 16 Quizzes, or any subset of the 16 Quizzes, by going to theanalyst.com/optaquiz, following the instructions, and submitting your answers to the Quiz. Each Quiz is administered live and will last for approximately 15 minutes. Entrants who join while a Quiz is in progress will be awarded points only for the questions answered, so in order to maximize an Entrant’s chances of winning, Entrants are encouraged to join for the entire Quiz. Answers must be submitted during each Quiz, as specified in the entry instructions. You are limited to one entry for each Quiz and any subsequent entries shall be deemed void. You are not required to make any purchase or payment of any kind in order to enter or win the Contest.
If you meet the Eligibility Criteria you may enter the Contest during the Contest Period prior to the Entry Deadline by completing and submitting the information requested at theanalyst.com/optaquiz and by following the on-screen instructions.
By submitting an entry, you confirm that you have read, understand and agree to abide by these Official Rules.
Each entry must adhere to the Eligibility Criteria listed herein or such entry will be void and ineligible for entry into the Contest.
All entries must be received by the “Entry Deadline”, which for each Quiz is when the live administration of the Quiz ends.
Entries must be made using only an e-mail address subscribed to, and registered in, your name. Entries must be submitted by you and not any third party.
In the event of a dispute regarding entries submitted by multiple individuals using the same e-mail account, the only eligible entry will be the entry submitted by the authorized subscriber to the e-mail account used to enter the Contest at the actual time of entry. The authorized e-mail account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

The “Contest Period” for each Quiz is as follows:

Quiz 5: Thursday, November 24, 2022 at approximately 18:30 GMT;
Quiz 6: Friday, November 25, 2022 at approximately 18:30 GMT;
Quiz 7: Monday, November 28, 2022 at approximately 18:30 GMT;
Quiz 8: Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at approximately 18:00 GMT;
Quiz 9: Friday, December 2, 2022 at approximately 18:00 GMT;
Quiz 10: Monday, December 5, 2022 at approximately 18:00 GMT;
Quiz 11: Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at approximately 18:00 GMT;
Quiz 12: Friday, December 9, 2022 at approximately 18:00 GMT;
Quiz 13: Saturday, December 10, 2022 at approximately 18:00 GMT;
Quiz 14: Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at approximately 18:00 GMT;
Quiz 15: Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at approximately 18:00 GMT; and
Quiz 16: Sunday, December 18, 2022 at approximately 14:00 GMT.
ELIGIBILITY
All participants must: (a) be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry; (b) possess a valid form of identification; and (c) be capable of accessing the Internet (each, an “Entrant”).
The following groups are expressly excluded from entering the Contest and any entry from such group will be automatically voided: (a) residents and entrants from Italy or any territory bound by Italian law; (b) entrants where the Contest is in any way prohibited by any law, regulation or other restriction; and (c) all officers, directors, employees and agents of Opta Analyst, including any members of any immediate families (being parents, siblings, children and spouses, regardless of where they live) or households (whether or not related) of such persons (collectively above, the “Eligibility Criteria”).
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE CLAIM CONDITIONS
(a) All Potential Winners and Potential Runners Up in accordance with Section 6 are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.
(b) Potential Winners and Potential Runners Up will be notified by Opta Analyst via the e-mail address provided by the Potential Winners and Potential Runners Up at time of entry. The return of any prize winner notification as undeliverable, the inability to reach the prize winner or failure of the prize winner to respond to Opta Analyst’s notification in accordance with this paragraph, failure to provide proof of eligibility (if requested), Release documents, Tax Documentation (if required) or other required documentation in a timely manner, or other non-compliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize (at Opta Analyst’s sole discretion).
(c) All Potential Winners and Potential Runners Up must complete and return to Opta Analyst (or its authorized agent), if requested, a written confirmation of their eligibility and compliance (and for US Contestants only, his/her Social Security Number if required for tax reporting purposes) and a liability and publicity release (collectively, the “Release”), releasing Opta Analyst from any liability in connection with this Contest, within seven (7) days of receipt of the notification described in subsection (a) above, or the prize may be deemed void (at Opta Analyst’s sole discretion).
(d) All prize winners shall be solely responsible for all taxes related to winning.
If you are based in the US or have any US tax obligations, and have won more than $600 or more worth of prizes from Opta Analyst in a calendar year, you will receive an IRS form 1099 from Opta Analyst after the end of the calendar year in which the prizes were awarded, and a copy of such form will be filed with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), or such other tax form as may be required by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the winner resides. Each prize winner shall complete all tax documentation required by the law of the jurisdiction in which the prize winner resides (“Tax Documentation”).

OWNERSHIP OF COMPETITION ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All Contest entries and any accompanying material submitted to Opta Analyst will become the property of the Opta Analyst on receipt and will not be returned.
By submitting your entry to the Contest and any accompanying material, you agree to: (a) assign to Opta Analyst all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and (b) waive all moral rights, in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world
GENERAL CONDITIONS
(a) Opta Analyst will not replace any lost or stolen prizes.
(b) Any attempt to exceed the maximum number of entries per person is a violation of these Official Rules and may result in disqualification. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified.
(c) You assume all risk of lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries. Incomplete, corrupted, garbled, misdirected or otherwise illegible entries, or entries without contact information, or do not conform to the requirements of these Official Rules, are void and will not be accepted.
(d) Opta Analyst reserves the right to disqualify fraudulent entries or entries suspected of being fraudulent, as determined by Opta Analyst in its sole discretion. All entries submitted become the sole property of Opta Analyst and will not be acknowledged or returned.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASES.
By participating in this contest, you agree that Opta Analyst has no liability whatsoever for, and you shall hold harmless and release Opta Analyst and its group, officers, directors, agents, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest from and against, any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses of any kind (including without limitation direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages) arising from (a) entry or participation in this contest, including access to and use of the contest website; (b) any claims based on personality or privacy rights, defamation or prize delivery; or (c) the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, including but not limited to liability for, damage to property, and damage or loss of any other kind.
In addition to the forgoing and subject to validity under law, you shall hold harmless and release Opta Analyst and its group, officers, directors, agents, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest from and against, any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses of any kind (including without limitation direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages) arising from personal injury, bodily injury and wrongful death.
Opta Analyst is not responsible for any undelivered e-mails, including without limitation, e-mails that are not received because of a potential prize winner’s privacy or spam filter settings which may divert any notification or other e-mail, including any grand prize winner notification e-mail, to a spam or junk folder.
Without limiting the foregoing, Opta Analyst shall not be responsible for: (a) any incomplete or inaccurate information that is caused by your use of Opta Analyst websites, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contests; (b) lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, service provider, on-line systems, telephone networks or telephone lines, or any other connections; (c) the theft, destruction, loss or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (d) any problems with, or malfunctions or failures of, telephone networks or lines, computers or computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, viruses or bugs; (e) garbled transmissions or miscommunications; (f) failure of any e-mail to be received by or from Opta Analyst for any reason, including but not limited to traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof or technical incompatibility; (g) damage to a your computer equipment (software or hardware) occasioned by participation or downloading of materials related to this Contest; (h) printing, distribution, programming or production errors, and any other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise; or (i) technical, pictorial, typographical or editorial errors or omissions contained herein.
GOVERNING LAW/DISPUTES. You expressly consent and agree that:
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Opta Analyst may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Contest.
Opta Analyst reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Contest where it becomes necessary to do so and at its sole discretion.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
PERSONAL INFORMATION, PUBLICITY AND PRIVACY.
Opta Analyst and its authorized agents will collect, use, and disclose the personal information provided by you for the purposes of administering the Contest and prize fulfillment. By entering this Contest, you consent to such collection, use, and disclosure of Entrant’s personal information as described herein and in the Opta Analyst’s Privacy Policy at: https://www.statsperform.com/privacy-policy/.
By accepting the prize described herein, and subject to applicable law, you agree to Opta Analyst’s use of your name, city/state/province of residence, picture, biographical information, statements, voice and likeness in any advertising and publicity Opta Analyst may conduct relating to the Contest in any media or format, whether now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, at any time or times in perpetuity, without further compensation or notice, except where prohibited by law.
RIGHT TO VOID / TERMINATE / SUSPEND / MODIFY
Opta Analyst reserves the right to suspend or modify this Contest, or these Official Rules, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation if, in Opta Analyst’s sole opinion, any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Rules, including but not limited to any interruption, cancellation, or delay in the World Cup competition as a result of pandemic or any other reason.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if the Contest, or any part thereof, is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, programming errors, or technical failures, which, in the sole opinion of Opta Analyst, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contests, Opta Analyst may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect entries and: (a) terminate the Contest, or any portion thereof; (b) modify or suspend the Contest, or any portion thereof, to address the impairment and then resume the Contest, or relevant portion, in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; and/or (c) award the prize from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment in accordance with the winner selection criteria discussed above.
