Pep Guardiola has now won the title in 10 of his 13 seasons as a top-flight manager, with Liverpool forced to contend with second place with the second-highest points tally to not win an English top-flight title (92). Chelsea and Tottenham rounded out the rest of the top four, while fellow London rivals Arsenal could only manage a fifth-place finish.
At the wrong end of the table, it was Norwich City, Watford and Burnley that succumbed to the drop, with Leeds United surviving relegation on the final day of the season with a 2-1 victory over Brentford.
