Nottingham Forest secured a valuable point at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, as they drew 1-1 with Chelsea. Look back at the game and analyse the Opta data on our Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest stats page.

Nottingham Forest had to withstand some late Chelsea pressure to secure a point on their travels and enter the October international break in the top half of the Premier League table.

Chris Wood scored another away goal – his 10th in the Premier League on the road since the start of last season – to open the scoring for Forest after 49 minutes, but Chelsea were able to hit back quickly thanks to Noni Madueke’s strike past Matz Sels.

The away side had James Ward-Prowse dismissed for a second yellow card with 12 minutes remaining, and despite having to play nearly 15 minutes of added time, they held on for a deserved draw. It could have been even better had Neco Williams not seen his added-time strike superbly saved by Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez in the 100th minute of the match.
