Manchester City and Inter Milan played out an entertaining 0-0 draw at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night, as Pep Guardiola’s side increased their unbeaten home run to 47 home games in all competitions (W39 D8).

Erling Haaland was on the hunt for his 100th Man City goal in what was his 104th competitive appearance for the club, but he and his teammates were kept out by Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer, who made five saves in the draw – the pick of the bunch from Ilkay Gündogan’s late header.

Both of these clubs will be pleased with a point in what is arguably their toughest match in the league phase of the 2024-25 competition, while they go into vital league matches versus Arsenal and AC Milan respectively this weekend on the back of a decent performance.
