Manchester City controlled the game from start to finish as they eased to a 4-0 win in Slovakia against Slovan Bratislava on Tuesday night. Although expected, Pep Guardiola will be relived to pick up all three points after their Matchday 1 home draw against Internazionale at the Etihad Stadium.

Goals from captain Ilkay Gündogan, Phil Foden and Erling Haaland arrived before the hour-mark, before substitute James McAtee managed to add a fourth with 16 minutes remaining.

This victory means that Man City are now 25 games unbeaten in the UEFA Champions League, equalling the all-time UCL/European Cup unbeaten run set by rivals Manchester United back in 2009.
