Mohamed Salah scored a sensational goal to make even more history as Liverpool beat Bologna 2-0 at Anfield in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Alexis Mac Allister gave Arne Slot’s men an early lead, tapping in from close range after Salah chipped the ball in from the right, before the Egyptian clinched things with 15 minutes to go. Salah became the first Liverpool player ever to score in five consecutive home games in the European Cup/UEFA Champions League.

Bologna had their moments, hitting the woodwork twice in the first half, but the Reds got the job done to make it two wins from two in the league phase.
