The FCS National Awards honor the best of the best across college football’s Division I subdivision. This year’s banquet, featuring six awards, is scheduled for Jan. 4 in Frisco, Texas.

Stats Perform is excited to announce the renewal of FedEx support for the Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete Award as the prestigious college football honor celebrates its 10th anniversary season within the 2024 Stats Perform FCS National Awards.

This distinguished Doris Robinson Award honors an FCS-level student-athlete who exemplifies excellence on the field, in the classroom and across the community, embodying the values of leadership and integrity championed by Doris Robinson, a former schoolteacher and the wife of legendary Grambling State University coach Eddie Robinson.

“In support of this sponsorship, FedEx hosts a Career Expose – College Pathways Program which provides student-athletes the opportunity to speak with leaders from various business departments at FedEx, and hear about different topics including personal brand, resume writing, interview skills, transition to workforce, continuing education and much more,” said Carlos Etheredge, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, FedEx.

Montana State University’s All-America quarterback Tommy Mellott received the 2023 Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete Award. While carrying a 4.0 cumulative grade point average in financial engineering, he volunteered over 200 hours of community service in his first three years on campus, with emphasis on teen mental health.
