Bernardo Silva’s late winner secured Manchester City a 1-0 win over Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday to reach the final of the FA Cup for a second successive season.
Chelsea posed plenty of threat, particularly through the wasteful Nicolas Jackson, but they were unable to make the most of their chances and City punished them.
Silva’s 83rd-minute deflected effort proved decisive, providing a happy end to an otherwise difficult week for City, who were dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid in midweek.
