Robert Lewandowski is at a new club, having left Bayern Munich to join Spanish giants Barcelona, while Erling Haaland is looking to break even more Champions League records this season.
Thirty-two teams have made it through to the Group Stage, six of those coming via qualifying. Only 16 will make it to the knockout stages, with eight dropping to the Europa League and the other eight exiting Europe altogether for 2022-23.
