UEFA Europa Conference League Stats Hub

Your home for UEFA Europa Conference League stats in 2022-23.

The UEFA Europa Conference League is back for the 2022-23 season. La Liga club Villarreal – who reached the quarter-final stage of the UEFA Champions League last term – are favourites for the competition at this stage, with their boss Unai Emery having such a rich history of success in European competitions. They are followed by Premier League club West Ham United, who reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League in 2021-22.

Winning this competition will give the club automatic entry to the 2023-34 UEFA Europa League group stage, just as Roma found out as first-time winners of the UECL last season, defeating Feyenoord in the inaugural season of the competition.

Thirty-two teams have made it through to the Group Stage, 22 of those coming via qualifying and 10 arriving as losing sides in Europa League play-off round and qualifying. Only 16 will make it to the knockout stages, with the eight group winners automatically making it to the last 16, while the runner-up in each group will advance to the knockout round play-offs, where they will be joined by eight teams from the Europa League. Sounds complicated… and it is.

Group A: İstanbul Başakşehir, Fiorentina, RFS, Hearts
Group B: West Ham United, Anderlecht, Silkeborg, FCSB
Group C: Villarreal, Hapoel Be’er Sheva, Austria Wien, Lech Poznań
Group D: Partizan Belgrade, Slovácko, 1. FC Köln, Nice
Group E: AZ Alkmaar, Apollon Limassol, FC Vaduz, Dnipro-1
Group F: Djurgårdens IF, Molde, Shamrock Rovers, Gent
